なんでfire burning になるの？burning fireじゃないの？
dont leave me the fireにburningを入れなさいという問題で dont leave me the burning fireが間違いというのはなぜでしょうか？ こたえはdont leave me the fire burningでした。 ありえません。バーニンファイアじゃないの？と思います（でも結構間違ってる人多いみたいです）。 ちなみにi feel the earch moveは、そういう唄があったので解りました笑 どなたか教えてください。宜しくお願いします。

the burning fire: 「燃えている火」となりますが、日本語的におかしくないですか？もともと「火」は燃えているので、わざわざ「燃えている」という言葉を前に付ける必要はない、というか、おかしい気がします。この語順が認められれば、「燃えていない火」という表現も可能になってしまいます。「火が燃えていない(火が消えている)」なら日本語的に問題ないですよね。 the fire burning: 「火が燃えている」となり日本語的にも問題ないと思います。さらに突っ込んで言えば、これは the fire [is] burning と、is が隠れていると解釈できます。 ところで、もともとの英文に「me」は入っていますか？もしそうなら、日本語訳はどうなりますか。 前後の文脈がわからないのでなんともいえませんが、 文章的におかしい気がします。

Don't leave the burning fire.は「the burning fireから離れるな」という意味ですので、これでも間違いではありません。

leaveには色々な意味があるので簡単な単語だからといってあなどってはいけません。一度辞書で確認することをお勧めします。 leaveをSVOCの構文で使うと「OをCのまま放っておく」という意味になります。 Don't leave the fire burningですと「火を点けたままにするな」という意味になるわけです。 なぜかmeがそこにあるのが気がかりなのですが…。

海外のアーティストでかなり前に発売されてました。 おそらく歌詞はこうでした。 Yah Yah Yah Yah Yah からはじまるロック調でした！ サビは、 Back off your rule Back off your jive Because I'm sick of not living Stay alive Leave me alone I feel alive I dont wanna be controlled Those I want×４ です。歌詞はなく、耳コピしただけなので 歌詞は間違ってたりしますがたぶんこんな感じの ハイテンポの曲です！！ 知ってましたらアーティストか曲名どちらでもいいのでおしえてください。
