「見出し語について辞書が提供する情報のうち6つを挙げなさい」といったところでしょう。Name the six different ... と the が入っていると「辞書はどの見出し語にも゜決まった"6つの情報を載せているが、それらを挙げなさい」というニュアンスになり、答えは決まってきますが、そうではありません。よって、辞書によって「提供する内容」はある程度差がありますが、辞書なら必ず出てくる「情報」のうち6つを列挙すればいいでしょう。 よって、発音、品詞、語義、語形変化、成句、用例, 同義語、反意語 などを挙げておけばいいでしょう（英語名はご自分で）。

これは辞書で単語を調べたときに、その単語についてどんなことがわかるかをあげよ、という質問だと思います。たとえば、informationという単語を引くと、まず、この単語は４音節でできていて、発音は[ ]に書いてあって、アクセントはどの音節にあるかわかります。すでにここで３つのことがわかりました。で、次にこの単語の品詞は名詞で、複数形は-sをつけ、その発音は[z]。不可算名詞で、意味は「知らせること、情報、etc」。ほかには「案内、略式起訴」などという意味もある・・・、とまぁ、たくさんのことがわかります。すでにこれだけで音節の数、発音、アクセント位置、品詞、複数形になったときの形、その発音、名詞であれは可算名詞か不可算名詞か、意味が何種類・・・と、８つものことがわかりました。このように、辞書で単語ひとつを引くと、その単語についてどれだけの情報がのっているかあげなさい、という意味だと思います。

martinbuho さん。 それはわたしも考えたのですが、どんな単語でも六個揃っているものとは何かと考えると、語義だと、六個ないものがあるのは明白なので、避けたのです。語義だと、「六種類以上ある場合」という限定が必要になります。martinbuho さんは、訳でそういう表現を補っていますが、原文には、そういう限定はありません。 品詞だとすると、単語に付随するエントリーの情報として、そのタイプとして、六個以上あるので、少なくとも違う品詞名を六個挙げよと述べているのではないかと考えたのです。これなら、どんな単語についても、どれかの品詞で、その可能性は六タイプ以上あることになり、原文そのままで意味が通ると思いましたが。 あるいは間違っているのかも知れません。一つ思いついたのは、「綴り」「綴りの切れ方」「発音記号」「品詞」「語義数」「語源」だと六個あります。ただ、語源は、表示のない単語がたくさんあります。再度、「情報」とは何のことでしょうか。
なんだか決定打が出ていないようなので私も参加させて貰います（自信なしですが）私は次のように理解しました。 「辞書にある見出しの単語で複数の意味（語義）があるものから6っの意味をあげよ」→6っ以上の語義を持つ単語の語義を示せ。 例 character 1．性格、人格 2．特質、特性 3．登場人物 4．評判、名声 5．文字、記号 6．地位、身分 7．個性的な人（面白い人） 辞書の見出し語（単語）で6種類の品詞をもつ単語は思いつきません。

#2です。 先の補足ですが、＃３さんの書かれているように私も解釈しました。 6種類のものというのは、品詞かと・・ 6種の異なったということですよね。 名詞・形容詞・動詞・助動詞・前置詞・副詞など、ポピュラーなものを書けばいいのかなぁとおもいました。

「辞書の単語の見出しに示されている情報について、異なるタイプのもの六個の名を挙げなさい。」 六個しかないのではなく、異なるタイプを六個、名を挙げて示せ、といっているのでしょう。この場合、「情報」というと、品詞のことだと思えるのですが、品詞の種類は六個以上あります。あるいは、単語の切れ方、発音記号、品詞記号、語源などの情報かも知れませんが、こういう情報は六個もないような気がします。「情報」とは何のことでしょうか。

辞書の見出し語の中に現れる単語についての情報で、6種類のものを示しなさい。 という意味だと思います。 最初のNameは動詞です。 命令文として読めばよいでしょう。

最初のnameは動詞ですね。 「名づける」のような意味が普通ですが、 この場合は「・・・の名をあげる」くらいかな。 それで、まだ分かりませんか？

(1)時には、単語を見つけるためのつづりが分かるところまでこぎつけられないことだってある。 It can not sometimes reach that the point lokking up the word is found.
