all of the と all the の違いは？
「XXX(作家)の本は日本ではとても人気があります」を英語で言う場合、どう表現するのが自然なのでしょうか？ The books by XXX are very popular in Japan. ですか？ それとも XXX's books are very popular in Japan. でしょうか？ どっちでもいいんでしょうか?? それから、all of the と all the の違いについてもどなたか教えていただけないでしょうか？ 例えば「私はXXX(作家)の物語が特に好きです、だってどのキャラクターもとても可愛いから」と言いたい場合、以下のどちらが正しいんでしょうか？ I especially like the stories by XXX, because all the characters are so cute! I especially like the stories by XXX, because all of the characters are so cute! (the stories by XXX としましたが XXX's stories なのかもという疑問ももちろんあります、頭が混乱します..) どなたかご存知の方、回答お願いいたします。

the books by XXXとXXX's booksのいずれも可です。ただし，後の言い方だと「XXXの持っている本」という意味にも取れますので，誰もが知っている作家のような場合を除けば避けた方がいいでしょう。the books written by XXXとすればさらに明確になります。 文法的にはall the characters, all of the characters, all charactersが可で，all of charactersは誤りです。内容的には，all charactersとすると，「およそキャラクターというものはすべて」という感じになりますので，不適切です。残りのall the characters, all of the charactersは内容的にもいずれも可で，その違いはないと思います。

The books by xxx というのはちょっと不自然な感じがします。by を使うのならやはり writtenを入れるのがより普通です。The books written by xxx・・・というように。 二つ目の of を入れるかという点においては、正しい表現は all of the ・・・ という使い方が文法的には正しいです。 （が、日常会話ではall the ・・といっている人多しです。)

not ～because の文について You are not great because you know many things.は、「物知りだからといって、あなたは偉いわけではない。 」と訳されていました。これだと偉くないことを強調しているみたいですが、この英文は、You are great not because you know many things. や You are great by an another reason と言い換えられますか。この場合だと、「あなたの物知りなことが、偉い理由ではない。」や「あなたが偉いのは他の理由によるものだ。」と偉いことに重きをおけます。 他の英文だと、I don't like you because you are beautiful.は、 I like you not because you are beautiful や l like you by an another reason..に置き換えられますか?

When I'm free, I usually read books or comics. It's because when I read them, I can feel as if I were in the world of them. For example, when characters fight against enemy in a story, I fight, too. When they feel sad, I feel so. Books and comics take me to various world and they are always exciting and surprising. Also, books and comics tell me many things. The first reason,I think that people feel interested in comics.The Japanese comics have various topics like love,gag,animals,job and others.Thereby,many people find them attractive, the interesting and sympathetic.Other reason is that it is easy for us to understand the contents by pictures.Because people get much information from sight.Comics can be understood easier than the novels with only letters.Some people like the picture or the character of the comic's story. Furthermore,the comics and the animations cause a large amount of economic effects.The movies of Studio Giburi,for example get high income in Japan.There are goods and the events development too.The goverment is trying hard to spread it abroad.Pokemon,Dragon Ball and others are popular abroad.People who have interest in Japanese comics and animations are also interested in Japan and visit there.
