From the 73-square-kilometer national park's Rim Rock Drive, sensational views can be had of the mesas and canyons that have been formed by centuries of wind and water erosion.(ASAHI WEEKLY 9/2)

> 例文の「A review of a recent book on language acquisition came out last month.」

原文では、 "....., sensational views can be had of the mesas and canyons that have been formed ....." となっていますが、私ならもっと簡単に、 "....., we can see sensational views of the mesas and canyons that have been formed ....."

A review of a recent book on language acquisition came out last month. A review came out last month of a book on language acquisition. A review of a recent book came out last month on language acquisition. A man with blond hair appered. から、 A man appeared with blond hair. A man with blond hair died. から、 A man died with blond hair.

ところで、例文の「A review of a recent book on language acquisition came out last month.」

To make matters worse for national unity, the strain of occupation had broken apart the pre-war anti-clericalist alliance between the socialist and the liberal factions, thus depriving both the clericalists and anti-clericalists of a legislative majority. The Catholic conservatives formed the largest bloc, but they were least likely to form a majority coalition.
