インストールができないソフトがあります。

フリー、シェア問わず時々インストールできないソフトがあります。 インストールをはじめると 「NTVDM　KERNEL:　missing 16-bit system module」 という小窓が出てその中には please re-install the follwing module to your system32 diretory KEY BOARD. DRV と書いてあります。 何故なんでしょうか？ 宜しくご指導くださいませ。 OSは　WinXP PRO です。

そのソフトの対応 OSを確認されてますか？ MS-DOS、Windows3.1から16bit互換を保ちながら進化したWindows9x系と異なり、XPは32bitからスタートしたNT系だと思うので、16bit用ソフトは動かないって事では？
